"This was a beautiful home within walking distance of downtown Troy. We loved waking up and walking to a local coffee shop. We bikes along the canal, watched a baseball game happening beside the bike path. There are a great variety of restaurants also within walking distance. "The property was everything we could have asked for and more! My kids had a great time swimming in the pool and exploring the grounds. The pool cover quit working while we were there and the owners came right out to try and fix it. Extremely nice people I might add. Will certainly visit again!"

"It was a great place for our group to gather to watch the eclipse, and then visit with each other afterwards. Very historic house with potential to be even more grand if renovations continue. The gazebo is nice. The yard would be even better with a garden or flowering trees. We enjoyed exploring the house. So much room!"

"The pictures uploaded are either very old, or doctored. Bed sheets had stains on them with black light. Cameras installed throughout the inside of the home. No running water when we arrived. We checked into a motel, and then owner tried to charge me $2000.00 for "water damage", when there was no running water and we never stayed."

"The property was exactly as listed. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfortable. The kitchen was very large and well stocked. The outside porch with gas fire pits were wonderful. In addition, there was a wood burning fire pit, and a pond that the kids and adults could fish in. A huge bonus is the barn. It was a great place to play cards. Also, the kids enjoyed all of the games that were provided. I would definitely stay here again!"
