“My husband and I stayed in the Balsam Cabin with two of our dogs. We were there on a last vacation with my oldest dog. It was a great place, very dog friendly and easily accessed by my Sr. dog. We took some great pictures out in back of the cabin which I loved. Close to Olympic training center, short drive to Mirror Lake plenty to do around and great places to eat. Cabins were clean and homey. Check in was a breeze. Will definitely stay again”

The inside was so cute and cozy and made me wish I could live there permanently. 10/10 would stay here again. Elizabethtown is also a quaint little town that was close to great hiking!”

“This is a great place for an overnight ski trip. It's my second time here, and both times were perfect. It's an 18 minute walk to the Lake Placid Brewery, which was super fun. Everything you need this place has. My favorite was the Universal Monsters movie channel - classic monster and horror movies 24/7. So much fun! 15 minutes from Whiteface. The hosts are awesome and the place was super clean. Thank you! See you again next year!!!”

“We had a lovely stay at this property while we enjoyed skiing at Whiteface. It is conveniently located near town and Ubers are easily accessible. The house was very clean, and cozy warm from the moment we arrived, despite freezing temperatures outside. There is plenty of parking and the driveway was nicely plowed.”

“A great little property if you are going to lake placid for any athletic event or trip. Small but cozy & warm and perfect for a small group or family of 3-4 people. 5 Minutes from downtown but in a very quiet community. A good price for a place with a little more privacy than your average hotel. Owners are great and accomdating. ”
