Elevator didn't work right, kept taking me to the wrong floor, even took me to the 4th floor which is completely under renovation. Ended up using stairs the whole 3 days we were there."
""Ernie's Place" was very comfortable, very clean, and fully equipped. We were there for three nights and enjoyed the plentiful bedroom storage, the kitchen facilities, and especially, after several days on the road, the laundry. Also, the Wi-Fi is excellent; we were able to stream the IndyCar race on our Roku stick with no problems. I also appreciated the off-street parking. We would definitely stay here again."
"We stayed in the Edith Head Room and had a magical time. The "partial" ocean view was more ocean than I expected, and the wood burning fireplace was very cool. The staff had the fireplace set with wood and kindling, all we had to do was light a match and enjoy. The decor of the room and common spaces was very cool, felt like we were in a nice museum. It was magical to wake up to the sound of the tidal movements and ocean birds."

"I visited this property with my mom and her dogs in July 2025 and we had the most lovely stay. The house was perfect and the backyard so peaceful to let the dogs out and for us to decompress. The location was absolutely perfect - being able to walk to the iconic 17 mile drive was so incredible. We didn’t realize how close we were to such stunning ocean views! It’s also an easy 15 min drive to Pacific Grove and Monterey, which are also very dog friendly. The neighborhood was so quiet, everyone was so nice, and the gate as an added security step made us feel safe and welcome as well. Thank you Jackie and team for the best summer escape "
"A quick walk to asilomar beach, very dog friendly. Mutt mitts for dog clean up. Fresh waffles every morning with coffee was a good thing to not worry about. Nice selection of pastries as well to start your morning. They did wine in the evenings. Wifi worked. Having the fireplace in the room was a nice way to warm up the room."
