“The Staff is excellent. The breakfast was limited but of good quality. My main issue was the bathroom situation. It might be fine in a suite, but the king bedroom situation was substandard. The house is lovely and I expect that this B & B is pretty much what you should expect in terms of price in Pacific Grove. It is an expensive area of CA and things cost more. ”

“Last week I had a very pleasant stay at Deer Haven Inn. It's location is at the quiet end of the peninsula, which I appreciate. Very short walk to Asilomar beach. My room had a small fridge and microwave, also a coffee maker. Very clean and very safe. Adequate parking. Nisha, who manned the front desk, is very pleasant and efficient. I love Pacific Grove, and Deer Haven is one of the more affordable options. ”

“I rarely write detailed reviews of lodging, however, I am writing today to say the level of care and attention taken to every detail of this stay was superior. The management was friendly, helpful and generous with their time. The room was immaculate and beautifully appointed. I arrived at around 6:00 pm to find a lovely assortment of refreshments including fine wine and an assortment of hors d'oeuvres. Somenone was on board to help with luggage. I will definitely stay at the St. Charles again.”
