"My friends and I (total of 4 women) spend 3 days each May at a vacation rental to do some remote work during the day and relax and socialize at night. This is the best location we have experienced yet across our 6 year tradition! The lake view was incredible, and all the ammenities were fantastic. We had plenty of space to do our own separate writing projects and also come together to chat (and make good use of the karaoke machine and hot tub!) in the evenings. We definitely plan to return."

"House was absolutely beautiful and had everything you could possibly need! Was warm and cozy. Beds were comfortable. Fireplaces and coffee bar were a hit for our group. The house was a great size for 9 of us - comfy beds, 3 full baths with plenty of towels, kitchen well stocked with more appliances, cutlery, and dishware than I've ever had at any other rental property, and a big full basement. "This property is ideally located within the city. It was an easy walk to downtown, the city marina, and the city beach and park. The lower part of Dock House is definitely themed for the lake and contained everything we needed. It was just two of us, and although it contained beds for 5, we think it would seem small unless kids made up some of that number. We cooked for most of our meals and there were pots, pans, utensils, and dishes for everything we made. We hope to be back!"

"Decided last minute to spend 3 days with family. Have traveled to Michigan for 30 years but have never visited the Silver Lake area. The area and the house were both hidden gems for our family. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to relax or have fun including private lakefront access a few hundred feet away from the front door. Nice kitchen with spacious counter, huge firepit, outdoor hot water shower, huge yard, and another firepit at the lake for watching beautiful sunsets....

The views are spectacular and the house is an easy drive to both Pentwater and Ludington. Our only concerns were these: Since we were the first after the winter, we were met with mouse droppings on two of the beds in the lower level, but no recent activity of mice.
