“The property was quiet and felt private though in a neighborhood. The house was very clean and the kitchen well appointed for cooking. Our little dog came with us and was welcomed to stay. All was in good order as was described in the VRBO listing. Our only suggestion might be that the mattress was a little too firm--a memory foam mattress pad would be great! “I am so glad i found the FCI for our first trip to the Outer Banks. We really enjoyed our six night stay there during the last week of October. Our room was perfect for us and the yummy hot breakfast every morning was amazing. We chose a historic inn rather than a hotel or airbnb because we like the more personal touch an Inn provides.
