Before arriving, I called the day before check-in because it was early in the season and temperatures were only around 70 degrees. I was told the pool would not be open due to the weather.

I give this hotel a five-star review! The room was very clean, the breakfast was amazing, and the kids absolutely loved the pool and gym area. Everything about our stay was great from start to finish. Plus, it’s only about a mile away from Cedar Point, which made everything super convenient for our weekend getaway. “The Sandusky Inn was a nice clean place to stop for an overnight. The staff was friendly and helpful with getting the air conditioning operating on a rather hot and steamy night, unusual for mid May!!
