"This is out from the city a short ways and in a peaceful location. The house is everything you could ask for and Suzi and an excellent host. We have stayed here several times and it never disappoints."

"This was a very comfortable and clean place for the 2 of us. Very convenient to all that Lafayette and the surrounding area has to offer. It was great having outside space right on the bayou to enjoy. Would definitely stay there again!"

"Place was as described, and perfect for a couple. Walking distance to shops and restaurants in a small town. Nearby food was amazing. Would stay here again if we come back this way."

"Spotless, well equipped cottage. Host made check- in easy, and provided contact phone numbers - which we didn’t need to use. Quiet neighborhood, a few miles from most area attractions. The only drawback is lack of a dining room table (but they do have a counter and barstools)."

"The house is perfectly located in town. Russell’s is right across the street for grocery & liquor. The Little Big Cup is next door. The back deck overlooking the bayou was a cool place to hang out. House was clean and updated. My wife and ai had the perfect 1 night getaway. Our main focus was The Little Big Cup. We had a nice dinner Saturday night and then enjoyed their Sunday brunch before heading home. It was perfect for us."

"We are seniors and rented this darling home for 2 weeks. The landlords are great, very responsive and kind. We could walk 3 blocks and be in downtown which was really nice. I would recommend it whole heartedly"

"My husband & I stayed here for a short weekend getaway. Debbie was more than accommodating with all the little extras from a small thing of milk in the fridge to toothpaste if you forgot it like we did. There was road work going on when we came in town on Friday & Debbie met us at the Buger King around the corner to guide us in. As soon as we got out of the car at the house she greets us with a hug. We felt her warm welcome from the very beginning. The breakfast pastries were wonderful each...

"The cottage is exactly as listed. Very nice and spacious for a small group. It was really clean and had everything we needed. I’d definitely stay there again"

"Cozy"

"We stayed here for my son's soccer tournament and loved the house and surrounding acreage. Even though the house only has two bedrooms, all the rooms are huge with tons of space throughout the house. We brought our twin toddlers and put pack-n-plays in the dining room with my son and his cousin upstairs. Plan on staying here in the future for a more extended stay/vacation, great for families with young kids given the space and outdoor play yard."

"This was a beautiful, peaceful, perfect place for our adult children to stay in, that came into town for a long weekend for our wedding. It has two separate cottages perfect to have separate, space. But also has an adjoining screened back porch over looking the bayou, that we used to have a Louisiana Friday family night of gumbo, with a fire pit and visiting. The property owners were gracious enough, that they let us use the grounds and property for pre-wedding photos. It was an amazing weekend....

"Enjoyed the inside and outdoor atmosphere so much. We had a fire in the fire pit while we played music at night. Cabin was so close to Avery Island and Jefferson Island, the places we wanted to visit. Weather was perfect the entire time we were there. Explored small towns around us and went into New Iberia as well. One suggestion would be to have recliners or ottomans for us seniors! Loved it overall!"

"We came in to town for a wedding. The place was extremely clean and the quality of the space was better than the listing pictures. It was near a good variety of restaurants and things to do. The only down side was that downtown Lafayette can be loud at night. If you plan on going to bed early this may not be the spot for you. If you enjoy being close to night life, this is the perfect stay for you!"
