"It’s got perfect coastal vibes with the architecture nestling the rooms in different orientations on different levels connecting them with manageable steps as though the whole Casa was designed in an Escher painting.
The room was super cozy and comfortable and the food in the restaurant downstairs, Poggio’s was exquisite! Great waiting staff! Some curt (possibly towards melanin(?)) than others but overall phenomenal service! "
"This motel was a bargain. The property and rooms were very well kept up. The staff was great and very helpful. One nice feature was a coin operated washer and dryer on site so we could do a load of laundry. I would stat there again and highly recommend this business. The owners take pride in their establishment and take care of the landscaped plants and flowers. "

"Mill Valley was a fabulous choice for us to stay during our recent visit to the area. This property is about 10-15 minutes from a lot of different hiking options on Mt Tam and also Muir Woods. It was clean, comfortable and had all the amenities we needed for our weeklong stay in the area. Mitch and Susan were great and responsive to all of our questions. I’m so glad I found this place bc this area is great and we enjoyed our time north of the golden gate more than our time in the city. The only two things I will mention here, especially for those staying with children, is that this is a one room apartment, with no door between the bedroom and living area. I misinterpreted the description and the pictures don’t really give a good impression of the size of the apartment. This would be an ideal place to stay alone without kids-for us, however, having no break from my 9 year old for the week was exhausting. The only other thing I’d like to mention here is that the caretakers do live upstairs, and the footsteps in the morning seem loud at times. The couple of days when my son didn’t wake us up with the TV, the footsteps above definitely did. But we are relatively early risers, so it wasn’t a huge deal. But if you like a good sleep-in, that may be difficult at times here. Other than that, this was definitely a five star stay in a perfect location. It was indeed “a haven in the trees.” "
"It was not the best hotel in southern Marin, but unless you are into an expensive boutique hotel, this is a great value. Plus there is one of the better coffee cart situations literally steps away. Nice people, clean room and convenient. What else do you need. "
"We had an amazing 4 days in this lovely house in Muir Beach. The views are so stunning, we were tempted not to leave the house and deck at all ... but we were lured by the walk down garden-lined staircases to the beach, and by hiking in Muir Woods just minutes away. The owner left us very helpful information about the area, and the house was cozy and spotless. We can't wait to come back!"

Be aware that some rooms have a shared bathroom, so check to make sure it says "private bathroom" if that's a requirement. Other than that, I highly recommend and will return again! Thanks! "

The home itself was spotless, cozy, and had everything we needed, but what made this experience even more special was the owner. They were the best communicator—so kind, generous, and thoughtful from start to finish. We felt genuinely cared for and welcomed.
