We loved Lisa! She was so helpful & friendly. Nothing could be more charming than the tiny wooden elevator. Our room was great. The bathroom was the best design I've seen. Zero complaints! My only complaint about the room was the wifi dead-spot on the bed where the pillows are. In the common area, the hotpot was slow & cheap. Great place!

friendly and helpful staff

Aside from impeccable cleanliness and AC, the staff was extremely attentive and hospitable. Only stayed for one night there and the front desk staff knew me by name when I came and went, they helped handle my bags, generously handed out cold water and lemonade, and called me a taxi for the airport in the morning. Exceeded my expectations by far! 10 out of 10. When and if I come to Rome again I will be staying here! Christina and the man from the front desk were the greatest.

In honesty, I didn't expect a lot. I work for a major airline and I stay at many large hotel chains. On this visit to Rome I was traveling with my teens on a tight budget. The pricing was too good to be true. The staff was friendly, helpful and very welcoming. The location of the hotel was fantastic, just a couple of blocks from the Coliseum, Palatine and the Forum amoung other important ruins as well as the Metro train! At the doorstep of the hotel were several sidewalk cafes that are open...

Great location and cleanness.

Piccolo Trevi Suites is a low-key boutique hotel, in the center of Rome, literally around the corner from the gorgeous Trevi Fountain. This historic building has undergone complete renovations making it lovely, comfortable accommodations with the modern amenities that you want. Although it is important to know that as there is no elevator, there are at least two stories of stairs to climb to reach the rooms. As my visit was short, I stayed in one of the double rooms, rather than in one of the...

I booked 2 rooms for 4 nights for my husband and I and one other couple. We couldn't have been more happy or more impressed with the quality for money, the location, and the meticulous cleanliness. The hotel staff were outstanding! They were in constant communication with me about our stay, which was very reassuring. They sent us recommendations for dining close by and helped us navigate the bus route to the Vatican City. They booked our airport transportation to and from the hotel. They made...

The person running it was very helpful. He walked me to the train station to show me the way. He also told me about an excellent restaurant within walking distance

Had a comfortable 4-night stay at the Arena Guesthouse. Staff was friendly and helpful, the room was quiet and clean, and the location was excellent -- near monuments and restaurants, as well as a metro station.

Staff was really helpful, and the hotel was exactly what we expected it to be--not fancy but safe, quiet, affordable, clean, and reasonably convenient. We were able to park on street near the hotel, and there are garages nearby, which is a plus if you have a rental and want to stash it somewhere rather than driving in Rome. It's a family-run European hotel so expect some stuff like them wanting to hold keys at the desk and keep tabs on your coming and going a bit. It's probably not the place...

12 min walk from the train station. Comfortable room, nice outdoor terrace/patio, tasty breakfast selection, pleasant staff. My daughter and I felt safe at the hotel. Only stayed one night because we were traveling, but would stay there again.

Nice location near the metro, very clean and nice place to stay. Super convenient yet not in the midst of the tourist jam. Highly recommend

Great location near everything.

We liked our stay! Everything was clean and comfortable. I just didn't like the access to the room via Internet. If you don't have internet, you won't be able to enter the first time. Also, you could hear others in the bathroom through the ventilation quite clearly which was annoying. Other than that, I recommend staying at Opera 58.

This is an incredible property in an excellent location.
