"We love the proximity to the airport. We had a disabled room which we didn’t need. Plenty of space but the shower floor didn’t dry easily and the water flowed outside the shower tiles making the floor slippery. There was no de caff tea or coffee which we would have expected. It was only a one night stay so didn’t mention it as we left early. Breakfast on the go was good. Helpful staff. "

"Initial issue with key, but staff were very apologetic and got it sorted quickly. Resturant for the hotel is just over the road, but again, good service and food was spot on. Room was comfy and quiet, just what is needed after a day at work. "

"Incredible!! Loved everything about our stay in this historic hotel. The reception staff was unparalleled- so warm and friendly and helpful with local tips (thank you Andrea & Tim!!). The rooms were comfortable and clean and well stocked with what we needed for our overnight stay. Only regret is that we weren’t there longer!! The house restaurant menu looked great and the prices were very competitive. Just no time to actually try it. Maybe another time. "

"Really liked the hotel. Nice rooms and friendly staff. I stopped in room 11 and the WIFI was really poor. Kept dropping out even though I was on it. As I was travelling wife work I use the evening to do my admin since I’m on my own. This was not possible though as it kept losing signal. Reception told me the hotel was full hence why it kept dropping out. But that should not be my issue it should be good enough for a full hotel. "

"The hotel is in a fantastic position for wookey hole ..unfortunately the gas went down so had to transfer the breakfast over to the restaurant in wookey hole . Alot of the options wernt available..The rooms tbh are very basic and a bit tired. Overall a good stsy "

"The breakfast the first day was good because the man was there but the second day we where there the man I don’t remember his name wasn’t there and the breakfast was poor they need to train the girls that serve you to make sure everything is there. They advertise breakfast but there is nothing there we where waiting 30 minutes before anything came out of the kitchen "
