"Unfortunately for us there was a band/choir highschool gathering. Loud kids, took over the pool area. Stayed up late partying and as we were on the ground floor we were keep awake from noise above until after midnight. They should have been staged in a separate area. Ugh"

"Excellent property, and wonderful, helpful staff. We had an ocean front room, which was amazing. The pool is great for kids and adults alike. The property is also located a little away from the busy part of Ali’i drive, which makes it great to relax at the end of the day after a day full of activities but is conveniently located near beaches and grocery/convenient stores. I highly recommend the property to anyone planning a trip to Kona."

"We stayed in the cottage and it was exceedingly charming and comfortable. Staff were truly kind and gracious, and we had two great meals at the main restaurant. The nature trail on the property was a nice bonus. Great location near the national park and close to other restaurants, too. Staying at the Kilauea Lodge was the highlight of our trip."

Condo is well kept, it had all necessary appliances and features a condo should have and even beach chair, snorkels and surf boards probably left by previous guests. "Everything was great about the property. It's bigger than we expected. Big kitchen and living room. Great view on the patio/deck. The fees do add up to be a lot , but we knew about them prior to booking and just included them in the cost per night when budgeting.
