"We had a lovely stay at the property. It was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The back patio was a great place to relax, we even saw a bear! Our little one did have a hard time keeping entertained at the house, but with so much to do near by we would recommend."

"The informational packet provided by the hosts was extremely helpful and very thorough, and even provided recommendations for places to visit. We only had one minor issue during our stay which we were able to communicate to the hosts to resolve. The kitchen in the cabin had anything we could possibly need and we were able to easily cook multiple meals after visiting the nearby Ingles. Overall it was a great stay and we would recommend this location to anyone looking for somewhere central to stay...

"This was a great find and perfect spot for our guys trip to Asheville. The host was very attentive, with a great guide that answers any questions/concerns upon your stay. The location was absolutely perfect with a great cabin/country vibe while being very close to downtown Asheville with everything you need nearby. "We had a fabulous time at the house. The drive was not bad, roads paved and not too steep. The kids had a wonderful time playing ping pong everyday. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need. Beautiful winter views off the back porch. The owners are very communicative and available for any questions. The house is very comfortable and cozy. We would love to come back for another visit in the future."

"We loved our weekend at the Berne Chalet. Beautiful surroundings, fresh ground coffee, and bakery perks. What more do you need? Maybe a huge TV screen, jigsaw puzzles, vintage vinyl records, and comfy beds? And a bear sighting! Yes please!"

"Six of us stayed in the chalets for two nights. It was a perfect size for our group and we liked the privacy and sleeping options the two units provided. We enjoyed the walk into town - just about a mile to the nearest brewery, though we took Ubers home. Overall a great stay and perfect for our purposes."

It is also in a great location to downtown and outdoor activities. The game room was a major highlight. The place exceeds what is written in the listing and would definitely stay here again! "Great little place to stay, clean, well equipped and quiet location. It’s far enough out but close enough to things as the same time. Hot tub was great. One thing to know, the driveway is mildly steep. No problem for a modern vehicle, but we drove a classic car and it was a little dicey getting up the drive. I don’t remember if this was mentioned in the listing or not, but I’m just sharing in case it helps someone else decide what to drive LOL. We’d definitely come back!"

"We enjoyed our vintage airstream experience at Asheville River Cabins. The setting right on the French Broad River is magnificent! The only disappointment was that the vintage airstream smells of cigarettes, although I got accustomed to it once inside, with the help of an aromatherapy spray. The memory foam mattress was very comfortable, and the kitchen had nice dishes and cooking equipment. Enjoyed our French press coffee every morning. "
