"The location is good but everything else is not. Gym looks like it has never been cleaned. The shower had mold, and tub drain didn’t work well. The carper was dirty, the chairs were dirty. The rooms are as when hotel first opened and very outdated."

"Excellent hotel right near Penn Station. Large and clean room. Staff was very friendly. Held our bag after we checked out until we headed out to the airport. Highly recommended!"

"I am writing to express my dissatisfaction with my recent stay at your hotel. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely poor. The room had a very strong musty smell, and the ceiling was covered in visible mold. The humidity was overwhelming and even caused me respiratory discomfort. The bathroom was not properly cleaned, as I found hair from a previous guest. Additionally, the bed was in very bad condition—the spring mattress was damaged, and I experienced severe back pain, as it felt like there was a hard bar running through the middle. Overall, the conditions were unacceptable. I was so uncomfortable that I had to check out one night earlier than planned due to the humidity and overall environment. I will not be staying at your hotel again, nor would I recommend it to others. This was a very disappointing and unpleasant experience."

"Great room and space was fine - was thinking room would be smaller! Coffee maker was a bonus. Staff at desk were always lovely and friendly. Mostly fine for waiting for lifts/elevators but at busier times was a longer wait. There are 3 though so wasn’t too bad as other reviews worried me about this before going. Room was clean and bed comfortable. Had to ask for firmer pillow though - they accommodated quickly. Walls are thin and did shake when other doors slammed shut. Situated by lift which wasn’t an issue but also by the cleaning cupboard so was woken a few times - one at 2:30am with someone on their walkie talkie. Smoke alarm was going off on night we got back - they removed battery and said would replace next day but it never got replaced before we then left. Overall a great stay - location is fab next to a lot of things and also to lots of subway options. Walkable to Staten Island ferry / charging bull / Wall Street etc. Would definitely stay here again."

"Rooms are well designed and in good condition. Elevators for such a large hotel are very fast and there are enough elevators. Staff does an excellent job cleaning rooms. Hotel is very well managed."
