“The Hotel is an older hotel but it is in great condition. We found it to be charming, the staff were friendly and helpful. The room was nice and clean, i have no complaints. I would stay here again. My only complaint was the lighting in the halls was dark.”

“ We stayed one week and there are no microwaves in the room or in the lobby . We usually get food we can cook in microwave or reheat the food we bought. It’s not a 5 star hotel but our room was clean and smelled good in the room . Outside it smells like marijuana which I don’t mind , it’s legal in a lot of states ! Breakfast was decent just carby foods , but you have options around there walkable distance . ”

“Beautiful ! It smelled amazing and it was super clean ! The bar was great and atmosphere . I only wish there breakfast had more of a selection and I wish I didn’t have to pa for parking every time I left the hotel ”

“The mattress was softer than it should be. When I checked in the staff was a bit surly. They put me in a room on the third floor with no elevator and I’m 65. I emailed in advance where I could get breakfast in the area and their recommendation made no sense and a Google search didn’t turn anything up. It’s a weird place and I don’t plan to return. ”

“Very nice apartment style rooms. It has all the amenities of gone. Washer and dryer along with silverware plates drinking glasses shot glasses. Coffee maker, and a coffee grinder. Fantastic view. comfortable beds awesome bathroom with shower. Great security and valet parking on site. Restaurants and bars located within the hotel and directly attached next door. Complementary guest cards for two of the restaurants.. We were there for the Martin Lawrence concert at the Masonic Temple, and we were……

“There are many rugs in the room that are not necessary and are malodorous. Bed has plastic sheets that make it difficult to sleep. No bedroom TV. Needs increased security. The unoccupied host desk was thrown to the ground and the outside should use a passkey but it never locked. ”

“Hotel Houze — Downtown Detroit, Michigan Not Recommended When I first arrived, I was assigned to Room 04, which had not been cleaned. I was moved to another room, but the issues didn’t stop there. The hotel looks more like a motel from the inside, with a metallic appearance on the upper floors. The quality of the sheets was very poor. they appeared yellow and brownish, suggesting the laundry machines are either dirty or using harsh chemicals that discolor the linens. “Nice place”

“Very upscale hotel and room had a beautiful view of the Detroit River. Front desk allowed me to check-in early so that was nice of them. Housekeeping didn't clean on the weekend and I was told it was standard practice to save on resources. While I understand that and didn't need daily housekeeping, it would've been better if I was told that in advance (or if the room had a sign / card indicating that). Rooftop bar is also very nice and there's also a decent sized pool and gym in the basement.”
