“Hotel was amazing and owner very friendly. However we booked on Expedia because included free breakfast however owner wanted to charge us $20 pp. we went off site for breakfast. Also couldn’t get the TV to work in the living room, we made the owner aware.”

“This was our first experience staying at Shinola although we knew about the hotel's reputation as a premier property in Detroit. It was just a one-night stay, but we had an incredible experience. I had reached out in advance sharing it was a special occasion celebrating an anniversary and babymoon. I didn't expect much but I believe we were assigned a more spacious corner room and received a very sweet hand-written letter from the staff, along with a bottle of sparkling juice and some chocolates……

“Hotel didn’t have body wash nor soap and when I asked front desk for some they told me I can use the hand soap or go next door to purchase some . Nothing but homeless people drinking and smoking outside of the hotel doors and things kept falling apart . Rooms was very clean but very cold , heat worked but not well ”

I would like a full refund.Because of the name Wyndam we expected quality. we went elsewhere.”
