“We enjoyed our stay. There was a mix up and we never received a code to open the gate. We arrived early but took quite a while to receive a call back. After we received the call all went smooth. Place is beautiful however did find small dog poop under island on wheels!”

The property was spotlessly clean, well-stocked, and felt like a real home rather than a rental — thoughtful touches throughout made a big difference. The space itself was comfortable and the location worked out perfectly for us.The only thing worth mentioning: the main living area has large glass doors facing the road and neighboring houses, and there are no curtains or blinds to cover them. “This was a great property very really really nice house and really great views of the lake and the fishing was awesome. I actually caught some pretty huge catfish and we caught a bass black bass and real real real relaxing. We love the house. We’d like I wish we could buy the house we want to stay there again someday but I wanna out of off-season so I don’t have to pay over 300 a night. It is a great great great property and we all loved it. Peaceful really really nice”

This home is certainly themed for a girls trip/weekend with the colors from the outside, inside, decor, games and rooms decorated to fit the scheme. However, ours was no girl trip. “Beautiful House. The view is amazing and the property is absolutely perfect. You can sit on the porch drinking coffee and watch the fish jumping in the morning. The area is very quiet and peaceful. I cannot recommend this property enough. It is a short drive into Mt Pleasant where there is a neat downtown area full of little shops with some great shopping. In the evenings, you can sit at the dock and catch catfish right by the boathouse. ”

“Very Nice house clean with amazing views, Chad and Jen were great hosts. Any issues were immediately addressed. Dock for fishing and swimming were great. Foosball and Ping-Pong table were a blast. Pool was a added bonus. Life vests / Pool floaties an games for the water was a plus. Very quite area, house is with in 15 mins for Daingerfield State Park. Patio had a Blackstone Grill and a Pit boss Pellet Smoker. Family had a great time, will defiantly be going back. ”

“We made a last minute booking to get away for a couple nights. So glad we chose this place! Everything was perfect. Hot tub was awesome and so were the sunsets. Stocked kitchen with most tools you’d need to prepare meals. Coffee pod maker with all the pods. We had our small dog with us and the totally fenced in yard was so helpful. 10/10 would stay again.”
