"Rooms are very clean and parking was not a problem. I checked out at 4:45 am to be at Good Samaritan Hospital at 5am. Due to a change in the schedule, I was left without a room at 5am. I decided to return to the hotel and they were kind enough to reactivate my key and check-out at 11am. Customer service is excellent. I definitely recommend this hotel and I will be returning."

"We really liked how reasonable the rates were, easy to park, very spacious rooms, and super dog-friendly. We enjoyed checking out the small towns and liked how close the hotel was to hiking trails. Plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby."

"Our stay at Masoods Lodge in Boulder Creek was extremely disappointing and far below acceptable standards. Upon arrival, the property appeared neglected and felt more like a junkyard, with scattered debris, piles of tires, maintenance supplies, and trash throughout the grounds. At our unit, there was even a spatula and an old shirt left draped over the BBQ. Inside the cabin, the conditions were unacceptable. There were cobwebs throughout, ants in the kitchen, dirty dish drawers, and an unclean toilet upon arrival. The bed comforter had a large visible stain, and the outdoor furniture cushions were piled up, torn, and unusable. The overall cleanliness and upkeep did not meet even basic expectations. The outdoor “lounge” space by the creek was also unusable, with multiple old microwaves sitting on a table and a refrigerator lying on its side. Most concerning, our dog became infested with fleas during our stay, creating an immediate health issue and forcing us to leave. We had booked three nights but left after the first night due to these conditions. This property was clearly misrepresented, and the experience fell far below hospitality standards. "

"We chose this home based on the listing photos, which made it appear bright, modern, and comfortable. In person, however, the house felt noticeably darker and more dated than expected.The house was uncomfortably warm, with no air conditioning and very limited airflow. This made the stay difficult.The property is accessed via a long, winding, single-lane road that felt steep and challenging to navigate, particularly after dark. This detail was not clearly communicated in the listing and would have been helpful to know in advance.Additionally, one of the bedrooms described as having a queen bed instead included a twin bed and a loft space accessed by a steep ladder with another small bed. This setup differed from our expectations based on the description.We had originally planned a six-night stay so our son could recover from ACL surgery, but we ended up choosing to leave after less than 24 hours due to the overall situation.We had filtered for pet-friendly properties and assumed that included our cat. After arrival, we learned that cats were not permitted. While we understand this was our misunderstanding, the communication around this felt very aggressive and added to the stress of the situation.Overall, the house did not meet our expectations, and the stay felt more stressful than anticipated during a time when we were hoping for a comfortable and restful environment."
