“I recently stayed at Barcelo Aruba on a trip with my friend. Overall, the staff at the restaurants and amenities were very nice, friendly, and welcoming. We really appreciated their kindness and the service they provided during our stay.
Unfortunately, our experience with the reception/front desk was very different. We did not feel welcomed, and at times it felt as though timeshare members were treated with much more importance than guests who booked through Expedia.

“Overall an exceptional property and the rooms were clean and fresh. I found two things that did not match the reputation of the Hyatt and this beautiful property in general. The Palms restaurants uses ceiling fans to keep it comfortable which is great, but someone should clean them; they have dust hanging off them and there was even dust hanging from the rafters. I found it hard to eat seeing dusty fans blowing overhead.

“I booked the pool view room, and they gave me a room that wasn't the pool view without telling me. Then I went to the front desk to change room, it took them about half hour to change room for me. But the air conditioner in the new room was so noisy that I couldn’t open it. The hygiene of the room was very poor, and there were some yellow stains on the towels and quilt”
