“Small rooms, uncomfortable bed, no chairs in the balcony, shower door doesn’t close. During our stay, 14 hrs of power outage in the rooms, leaking hallway sealing. Beat up rooms and a hotel that requires few upgrades”

“The atmosphere, with the beach and bars, gave a good-stay feeling. The food in the buffet was OK. Nothing to write home about. The same can be said about the restaurants we dined in. The room attendant, Guillermina, did a great job cleaning the room. However, the room was poorly lit, a bit dated. The shower stall seemed like it had mold growing around the edges. Having access to the Tamarind amenities enhanced the overall stay.”

“Our first time in Aruba and we want to go back! The hotel was amazing, nice beds, nice view, great food. The fact that you can enjoy both resorts (Divi and Tamarijn) makes it perfect. Staff is friendly, people at the restaurants are amazing. The only thing that happened to us was the first night, the people next door were really loud in the middle of the night, laughing while having fun and the noise woke us up several times. That was only one night but if people are walking thru the hallway you……

“Ants in the room, smoking allowed at the pool with cigarette butts all over, bird poop on tables and chairs by the pool that don’t seem to ever be cleaned, workers outside our room at 7:15 am trimming hedges and yelling to talk over the blower and hedge clipper, food at the Windows restaurant was fair—shall I go on? The plus was the size of the villa.”

“Clean room, great staff, lovely pools and access to baby beach. Food wasn’t the best and entertainment was lacking but I understand it’s a new resort.”

“Didn’t like that you have to pay for the beach chairs out in the pool area. This should not be considered a luxury. Additionally when I would stay in a four or five star hotel such as this the amenities such as a sauna and steam room are included. They normally are not a separate fee to use.”

“The hotel was very nice. The beach was fantastic. The Casino is very small. Remember when visiting Aruba that when you go out to eat/drink, when you get your bill there is a "service fee" of 15-20% on top of the bill. This is the gratuity. We learned after we were there for three days that we were double tipping because we did not notice this. This is at about 80% of the restaurants. Also, it is well worth it to go on the pirate ship snorkeling ship at Moomba beach, those guys are AMAZING!!!!”

“20+ years & we always go back to the Holiday Inn Resort Aruba because it's affordable, clean, near great restaurants, shops, & most importantly the staff. The staff are very friendly & treat you with respect. Our housemaid Odra was wonderful & Jean a good friend, & Roy from the towel hut were Excellent & always had our palapa set up for us. John, our dear friend from the luggage care always a sweetheart & has become like family to us. We thank the Holiday Inn for our complimentary bottle of……

“I booked the pool view room, and they gave me a room that wasn't the pool view without telling me. Then I went to the front desk to change room, it took them about half hour to change room for me. But the air conditioner in the new room was so noisy that I couldn’t open it. The hygiene of the room was very poor, and there were some yellow stains on the towels and quilt”

“Beautiful resort but limited dining options and amenities. Also, this part of the beach seemed to be least clear.”

“Property was clean , rooms were spacious and clean , balcony ws great . Like staying in a mini apartment. Lots of pools , food was good. I would have liked a buffet choice for every meal, only for breakfast. Beach across street , property is beautiful always felt safe . Very quiet , no evening activities , no much to do other than pool and beach. Bus stop is close and its very cheap.”
