“We have been waiting to come to this resort for over two years and sadly it was very disappointing. The resort itself is absolutely beautiful and very clean. The front desk staff were very welcoming. Unfortunately we found a dead cockroach in our room as soon as we entered it. There was also a small cockroach that crawled across our table at the Blind Butcher as soon as we sat down. It made us wonder what was in the kitchen. When we told one of the staff members the lady responded by saying……

“The grounds are beautifully maintained & very clean, including the pool area & beach. There are several good dining options & the daily activities were diverse & enjoyable.The room was spacious & spotless, although some updates are needed throughout the property. Unfortunately, service did not meet the standards I expect from a Meliá resort. At the swim-up bar, bartenders often seemed more interested in talking amongst themselves than assisting guests. The staff was also extremely persistent……
