"The General manager and Manager of the Front Desk. They went above and beyond for us and others. Breakfast area was well stocked and very clean - they were super friendly and very professional. A Huge statement for the Resort and Country Club. Restaurant - outside dining was also very special. We are returning again this month and will always stay there when we are in the area. "Everything was exactly how it was presented. It was easy to find, plenty of space for our group, both inside and outside. The paddle boards, kayaks and paddle boat got lots of use. We also brought 2 jet skis and the dock worked great to tie them up for short periods. The kitchen and dining area made meals easy to set up and eat. We used the gas grill. The pool table and foosball table were used. The sunsets were stunning from the deck! "

"Quiet spot near the end of the paved road. Perfect for sitting outside and watching the loons that stayed on this end of the lake. Owner verified that we checked in okay and was eager to give us fishing tips. "

" We enjoyed our stay very much! The house and view were beautiful! We liked cooking in the beautiful kitchen and there were enough beds for all of us. Since we had our own dock with kayaks and paddle boards the kids had things to do. One problem we noticed with the dock was that one of the boards was loose and it was lifting up. Also it would be good to have the shelves stocked with extra toilet paper since we did have to go buy more. We all had a great time and it was good to be close to Alexandria so when we needed something we could go into town."

"Spacious, clean, well stocked. I was able to cook lunch for 8 with no issues. The fishing was great, the beds were comfy, the water pressure in the showers was great. My husband had a great time with the pedal pontoon AND the laundry chute. Great sunsets out the back window. Will definitely book it next year. "

"This house was fantastic! It was perfect for our family of 14. Beds were amazing! Loved the open kitchen and living room. The hot tub was a big hit with everyone! The only minor thing was that the interstate is a short distance from the house so there was constant traffic noise, but it didn't really interfere with conversation out on the deck. Another suggestion would be to have more fridge space. For large groups like ours it was very tight even using the small fridge and cooler downstairs. Overall though we really enjoyed this place and recommend it. We commented on how cool this place would look in the fall when the leaves are turning."

"We came up with my extended family (14 of us) to celebrate my parents’ 50th anniversary. The home was STUNNING and there was plenty of room to sleep, eat (indoor dining table and outdoor patio tables seat 16), and hang out. There are coffee makers everywhere too, which my family loved. We quite enjoyed taking out the paddle boat, kayaks, and paddle boards (plenty of life jackets too). The water is shallow for quite a ways out which made swimming easy … and our hosts also graciously provided us a sand bag to anchor their lily pad down about 100m out so the kids could play on it. Anything we needed showed up at the front door in minutes. We roasted s’mores at the huge fire pit and the kids played a lot of spike ball. Outside of the VRBO, we enjoyed great dinners at Lure and Pike & Pint, played Best Ball golf at the Lake Miltona golf club, and rented a pontoon for a day from Lake Darling (connected to a few other lakes). Lots to do! We will DEFINITELY rent from Mark and his fiancée again! "

"It's a nice property in a quite and peaceful setting. We had two adult couples, and found that there was room for all of us. The folding table leafs in the family room and kitchen were a nice addition for utilizing space. Since we were meeting friends at another lake property while in town, we didn't take advantage of the lake front features."

"We had a great long weekend in July 2025.PROS - Kitchen is great. Air conditioning is strong in the main room. Beds were comfortable, plenty of sleeping room. Main level master is plenty spacious. The 2 upstairs bedrooms have queen bunks - queen top and bottom. Bathrooms had body wash and shampoo. Plenty of towels were available. Indoor rocking chairs were comfy, along with the sectional. TV worked. Campfire pit was great. Canoe and kayaks had paddles and were available for free, which was awesome. Lake had a dozen loons. Host is very responsive to any/all questions. Pet friendly.CONS - Air conditioning is not strong in the bedrooms, they were a bit hot to sleep in. Each room does have a floor fan available. Electric grill did not work for me. Floors upstairs were a bit squeaky, which is audible up and downstairs.Overall our group of 6 adult family members had a very nice weekend, and I'd recommend this cabin. "

"This was a beautiful property with a spacious lawn and sandy beach. We loved having the big game room for rainy days and the 2 large bunk rooms were comfortable and were great for all the kids. We did a girls room and a boys room. Lots of towels and linens and huge washer/ dryer. Would've been nice to have a master bathroom, but we made it work with the 2 bathrooms. Overall, great stay and would definitely come back!"

"Was clean and comfortable for three individual adults using all three bedrooms and even though listed as pet friendly did not have any type of pet odors. Backyard and four season porch was nice and quiet. We were not doing any lake activities this trip so having easy lake access was not an issue. I would recommend this property as a good choice for anyone looking to visit Alexandria."

"This house is amazing. It's very spacious and perfect for our group of 11 friends. The lake is perfect and the pontoon made our stay so much fun. Our group will be staying here again next summer for sure. "
