Well where do I begin, the kitchen was not equipped to cook meals. We had to purchase pots and pans to allow us to cook meals. There were no plates, very little silverware and overall, The place was dirty. The bedroom next to laundry had a broken bed. There was only about 5 gallons worth of hot water. ...

Though Southeast Health Center of Stoddard County might be what brings you to town, perhaps you'll have a chance to explore more of Dexter while you are here.

Restaurant choices were limited due to the holiday, but Penny’s diner was pretty good and they are open 24-7. We checked out a couple of Mexican restaurants and our favorite was El Bracero (get the carne asada fries).
We did find a nice womens shop right in town that was very nice called In Style
Dexter appears to be a calm, overall quiet town that has been kept up, rather than running down like Malden has over the years.
This Wyndham did not live up to the quality that I have experienced at other Wyndham locations in the Midwest.
it was ok for just staying 1 night
