The room was very clean and comfy. The king mattress might need to be replaced is it was 'broken down' on the side closed to the entry door. I had to sleep on the other side of the mattress. Restaurant choices were limited due to the holiday, but Penny’s diner was pretty good and they are open 24-7. We checked out a couple of Mexican restaurants and our favorite was El Bracero (get the carne asada fries).
We did find a nice womens shop right in town that was very nice called In Style
Dexter appears to be a calm, overall quiet town that has been kept up, rather than running down like Malden has over the years.
This Wyndham did not live up to the quality that I have experienced at other Wyndham locations in the Midwest.
