"It was a perfect location we walked everywhere. Lots of restaurants and sights are nearby. The room was overall good but our closet was so small we couldn’t even fit more than 3 items , I’m pretty sure that it was a design flaw. I would stay here again !"

"Boston is one of my favorite cities. It was my wife’s first visit so I was looking for a hotel centrally located to the Freedom Trail, the North End, etc,… which wasn’t too obscenely priced and found the Dagny. All of the staff is very personable, from the front desk to the bellhops. The rooms have (I may be describing it incorrectly) a masculine art deco style which was a nice change. Bath amenities were nice, hvac worked well, full blackout shades and an empty fridge to keep our own food and beverages. They had vending machines instead on each floor in lieu of a mini-bar. The adjoining coffee is beautiful and well visited by locals along with hotel guests. My only cons were no pool (understandable in an older building in a downtown location), slightly sparse furnishings (a bench at the end of the bed would be perfect) and the one issue that made me tempted to take away a star was that with the single pane windows (old, but beautifully restored building) you could hear every loud drunk conversation outside. It only happened a few times but I’m a light sleeper. The TV is also at the opposite end of the room from the bed which meant I to turn the TV up louder than usual and I was afraid of disturbing adjoining guests. All in all a great stay."

"It is a great hotel to stay at before you fly out of Boston. If you are flying out of Terminal A (Delta), you can walk to the terminal via the connector bridge. Very convenient. The price was not that outrageous, even during the marathon week. There is no complaint, but there is nothing extraordinarily praiseworthy to write on a review either. Everything you would expect from a hotel in this class."

"My check in did not go well. It was not the staff person, he couldn’t have been nicer, it was the hotel policy. I arrived at noon and was told my room was ready but there was a $75.00 early check in fee. This was the first time I encountered this policy at any hotel and whoever in corporate initiated this policy should be fired on the spot!! I hope that this is not something that is going to become a new normal! I understand a fee for a late check out as a hotel needs to ready the rooms for incoming guests but if a room is ready to charge an early check in fee is nothing but a money grab. Until I hear this policy has been changed I will not be staying at the Parker House! My stay otherwise was fine, the room was clean and it was quiet but this early check-in put a damper on the Parker House experience, I finally did check in at 5pm. Horrible! "

"It's been a long time since I stayed here, and I am pleased to see it's been modernized quite a bit. The location is excellent, especially considering the price (for Boston!). My only criticism concerns the equipment we had delivered, signed for by the manager, then strangely placed in a remote laundry storage room! It took me a couple of days and an Apple AirTags to finally locate it! My other criticism was that I was not informed there was no made service (perhaps I needed to request it?). They did replace my towels after three nights, but did not make the bed... Other than those outliers, it's a good hotel, at a good price, perfectly located for what I needed."
