“Really quaint old inn with lots of exposed stone walls & beams. Staff were super friendly & helpful - really warm welcome & nothing was too much trouble. Bed very comfortable & the small double room I had was perfect just for me. Food in the restaurant was delicious & there was a good choice. Breakfast plentiful, well presented & hearty. Will be staying there again on my way to Devon”

“We had a 2 night stay to celebrate my husband's birthday. Faultless service from the staff in all areas and particularly the restaurant. Spa area and all 3 pools are spotless, just enough loungers, more than enough towels and shade - and on a hot day a beautiful place to chill out after exploring Bath. Bar lounge menus and main restaurant menu are good value, food is excellent.”

“Everything about this charming countryside retreat was what we hoped for and more. The staff was a welcoming and alsways there to help. The food was delicious and better than we expected. Our room generously sized, modern and comfortably appointed. (We did request a fan though as there’s no air conditioning, and the staff was quick to oblige.) The best part though is the expansive English garden out back. This was our farewell night in England before heading home and the inn proved to be a……

“Lovely hotel the only downside which I had not realised was breakfast started at 8 and we needed to leave at 730. The staff were lovely and provided us with cereal and milk the night before. We eat in the restaurant on the evening of our arrival and the food was excellent.”
