"I took my daughter, daughters-in-law and 2 young grandsons. The house was perfect! They had everything we needed in the kitchen. Having 2 full bathrooms was great. This was way cheaper than staying in a hotel and more fun to all be together. Would definitely recommend!"

"We enjoyed a fun and relaxing Easter weekend and our three teenage boys can’t wait to rent this house again! The hosts have been thoughtful in providing all the amenities for cooking big meals, plenty of towels for a long weekend, and comfortable beds/bedding. They also had activities for everyone in our group of 7: puzzles, games, a pool table, ping pong, pickle ball, corn hole, fishing, and kayaks."

"The house was spacious, clean and attractive. The parking is an issue for more than 2 cars and the driveway very steep. We were 72 to 86 year olds so the stairs were very challenging. Other than that we had a great time. The lady that managed the home was vary a available and helpful."

"Traveling to South Texas we needed an overnight place to stay. We booked "The Hive" and are so glad we did! The place was spotless, had covered parking (that came in handy with the overnight storms), a huge fenced backyard for privacy, a king bed with one of the most comfortable mattresses and pillows ever, and great communication with the property owners! There is only one other house on the block and nothing worth seeing out front, but the back is where it's at with a big open space of nothing...

"This was such a fun property. The decor was amazing, the furniture super comfortable, & there were numerous extra touches that made this property so special. Additionally, there were notes posted to provide information about using the hot tub and kayaks, as well as all switches identified. The property owners went above & beyond to provide all the information we needed."

"The property manager/owner met us there and glad they did. The house has many features that are cool and useful. Very nice couple and funny! They made us feel at home. The weather wasn't cooperating but we enjoyed staying inside and relaxing! The outside area is awesome. We are definitely coming back, maybe with our spouses next time. "The house was nice and spacious with all the amenities we could need. Our family of four with young children stayed here over Christmas and loved it. There was plenty of room! The provided roll away crib was so nice to have so we didn’t have to bring our pack and play on the trip from out of state. We had a question on the first night we were there and the host was very quick to respond. A great experience overall!"

"We loved our stay at Artful Escape. It is super family friendly and our hosts were amazing and very responsive. The house had everything we needed and so much more. The neighborhood is safe and quiet. The beds are super comfortable. The art supplies around the house was a really fun touch that our daughter thouroughly enjoyed. 10/10 recommended for families or even just a quiet relaxing getaway!"

"We had a few housekeeping concerns- several towels smelled like cigarette smoke, the potty seat was loose in the downstairs bathroom. Other than that, it was very clean! Wished we'd known about the steep steps to the upstairs and to the water! We're all 4 in our 60's. We realized we're all in really good shape! Also, not sure how 8 could sleep comfortably. It was perfect for the 4 of us (women- our husbands didn't join us this time) with one sleeping on the couch and with only 2 bathrooms. Also,...

"We lucked out in finding this home available for the 2024 total eclipse. It definitely has space to accommodate more than our family of four but/and was extremely comfortable. Fully stocked kitchen. Two full nice bathrooms. Three really comfy beds. Pool table enjoyed by all. And the hosts were incredibly kind and responsive. We could only stay a couple days (I regret not more), but should we come back to Glen Rose this will be the first place we check."
