“Positives first - Room was spotless, all staff exceptionally polite and attentive. Homemade cookies and coffee/ tea/ cocoa available 24/7. Location fabulous. Bed was very comfortable, our room was quite inviting to the eye, the shower large with an overhead deluge shower head. Breakfast was simply exceptional. But too many significant, though fixable, negatives - Lots of maintenance issues: 1) gas fireplace in our room broken, 2) outside gas fire-pit not operative, 3) diverter knob to……

“It was very clean. The bed is super comfortable. The fixtures such as lights, bathroom etc are very nice, not cheap. The breakfast is pretty big for a continental, and the waffle lady is super nice and friendly”

“We had such a great weekend at Mabel’s! The staff was so friendly and accommodating and everything was so clean. We went out of season so the pantry inside was closed but we know we would’ve enjoyed it! We liked that Mabel’s wasn’t right in the bustle of Dock Square but close enough for a short drive over for shops, activities, and food. There’s also a small beach was just a 5 minute walk away from Mabel’s, which we loved! Can’t forget Coveside market just next to Mabel’s - perfect for a snack,……

“We stayed in late April when the main building was not yet open. The room was was very clean, heating and hot water worked perfectly. The onsite market is convenient for morning coffee and lounging. The staff have recommended some restaurants and a seafood market that turned out very good.”

“Hotel is in the middle of a remodel. Was supposed to have queen bed got a full. Other than that room was remodled nicely. Pillows weren't the greatest. No complimentary breakfast as was mentioned when booking. AC/ Heating very loud.When the remodel is finished it will be a nice little place to stay for a weekend.”
