"This was by far our best stay I would say in our entire life so far. We wanted to give the kids all the pleasure and space, and this literally did all of that. The kindness and hospitality was top notch, they even thought about the kids and with our late arrival there was even some food to consume. Thank you Marta for being such a great manager! "José was a fantastic host, we were welcomed with delicious pasteis de nata, crackers, cheese and wine upon arrival. He would pop in every couple of days to clean the pool and would always stop for a chat if we were around. The villa itself is beautiful with a fantastic view of the Castelo de Sesimbra, which was lit up at night. Very spacious and perfect for our two families of 10 people. "I booked the property for 19 persons as a celebration for a friend. Paulo was always communicating with us for the months in the build up to the stay. The chef Jose was very friendly and cooked a great breakfast as well as a dinner for our final night. It is around 45 minutes from Lisbon but Paulo helped us organise taxis for a visit into the city on one of our days. There is also a supermarket around 5 minutes drive. Having the football pitch was also a great plus :) if you stick to the house...

"Nice quiet stay away from the hustle of downtown Comporta (~12 min drive). I enjoyed walking to nearby local coffee shop for my espresso and the Leonardo supermarket for some daily supplies. I’m a little on the taller side; so, had to watch my head when walking through the doors (not an issue if one is under 5’10”). Otherwise, having a/c here is a big plus and necessary given the strong summer alentejo sun."

"A well equipped villa with plenty of space inside and out. Plenty of sunbeds and you can choose shade or sun. The pool was good for a cool down. Elisabete looked after us very well and fixed any problems we had very quickly. Very helpful to have things like washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, charcoal & soap etc provided so you don't have to go out and buy everything on the first day. Even shower gel and shampoo provided. You need a car as other than a handy pizza restaurant very close, there...

"We had such a lovely relaxing Holiday - The house looked even better in real life than on the photos! And the views are just stunning. It’s in a very remote place making it paradise and perfect for chilled holidays. Near enough the super markets and beach. We were so comfortable than hardly left the villa. A real treat."

"Very well equipped. We were particularly impressed with the amount of toys and stuff to entertain the children. Unfortunately the restaurants and bars were too far out to walk to with the children. We made the most of the outside kitchen and had a lovely relaxing stay!"

"Vasco is a great host and his home is confortable for 8 people. Someome came to clean the pool and another person was here to change the bed sheets. Beautiful and safe area, close to Lisbon and magnificent beaches. Would go back with no hesitation."

"We had a really wonderful stay. The house and outdoor areas are fantastic. Carla was very responsive to questions. The beach at Carvalhal is a short walk away and is absolutely gorgeous. It's perfect for kids at low tide and ideal for beginner surfers. We are definitely going to return in the near future."

"We were a group of 10 all aged 20 or 21 and could not have picked a better place to stay. The house was very clean, spacious and accommodated to all our needs. The location was great as we could easily get to the main city or the beach each day. Teresa was super helpful and provided us with all the information we needed.
