“Perfect spot for my needs. I am a retired traveler, and this place had everything I needed. The photos are accurate, the apartment was very clean, and everything worked properly. It is in a great location with plenty of restaurants and nightlife within walking distance (the Thai restaurant in the building was a huge bonus). It is in walking distance of the Capitol Building, the sculpture garden, and Gray's Lake. It is on a major surface road, but there was zero noise in the apartment.……

“Short story, what was supposed to be a cheaper one night stay, ended up with a towed car and a towing bill. No mention of parking not being available in the complex in the listing. No mention of parking rules in the check in email. By the time I got clarification, I was already at a concert with my car left behind so I wouldn’t have to worry about looking for parking near the event. The irony doesn’t escape me.”

“We were happy with our stay here. It was conveniently located and offered much more space than a similarly priced extended stay hotel. The area felt safe and was clean. The space was modern and decorated well. We learned it was the old Des Moines newspaper building, and we could see the character in the building was preserved in the room and some of the common areas. Parking was available on the street or the public parking garage, which was attached via a skywalk. It was a separate fee. The……
