"We were there when disaster hit Lahaina. This place made us comfortable when all things were going wrong for West Maui —- no power, cell service, scarce food, cash and unable to connect to outside world, even to what’s going on in Lahaina. We felt safe at the Mauian. The staff were affected emotionally by the tragedy as they slowly get word from other locals, but they still showed up for work. That’s true dedication and care! Definitely a gem of a place, not to mention the perfect beach setting. Thank you Mauian staff. We owe you! "
