This hotel needs to decide which direction it is going. Booked a room for cheaper than most motel chains. The rooms were outdated and musty. Lingering order of decades past. Stucco ceilings, small older flat screen tv, water backs up in the tub when showering, stains and chips on counters and floors.hardly any outlets. At least get bedside lamps with multiple outlets.
With that said, not dirty and for a night or two great location. If you dont mind forgoing a little of modern amenity.
Biggest issue was after winning a bet on a sporting event. The sports book was closed and the casino cashiers couldnt redeem the winning ticket. I assume the sports betting is run by an outside company. We had planned to leave early the next morning and had to wait extra hours until the sports book opened back up. They said they could have mailed us the winnings. Thats no good. The hotel should cover the bet up to a moderate ammount ( we won 70 dollars). If you loose you pay, if you win you should get paid, not incovienienced try placing a fourty dollar bet on number thirteen at the roulette table. When the dealer asks you to put the money down, you say, 'no not right now, if the house wins ill mail my bet later.' Not honoring a winning bet quickly is bad business for a casino. Anyway, had to rant about that.
I sincerely hope they start putting money into this hotel and not let it go under. Its not bad as of now, but it needs some love.
