“Was not clear to me in the listing that this was the third floor of a walk up with narrow and steep stairs. Getting large luggage up the stairs was a challenge. Plus another level of stairs inside for the majority of the bedrooms. There is not really anywhere to dine/eat at a table but a narrow ledge with stools.Otherwise it was a nice place, clean and with all the basics. “Great location and wonderful hospitality while we visited family who live in Jamaica Plain. The home was clean and had everything we needed. Shower was great with lots of hot water and bed was comfortable. Being on the first floor made access easy. Both Jackson Station and Stony Brook Stations on the Orange Line are close with easy access to downtown Boston. Great walking trails along the Southwest Corridor. “We love old homes and this was such a lovely home for our Boston adventure! Everything needed in a home is provided and the location has so many restaurants, convenience stores and shopping within walking distance. Copley Park is right around the corner and train stops are very close. Days were spent doing walking tours in the North End and the Freedom trail, train rides to Boston College, and driving to Salem and Gloucester. Parking should definitely be planned as there is no street parking...

“The property is walking distance to Fenway.. We did not have any issues with noise. The metro is right in fornt of the house (also very convenient for getting around Boston) but the noise is minimal and after the first few nights it simply became background noise. Having the grocery H-Mart store less than a block away was very convenient. A large variety of eateries both very close to very walk-able. Hosts were very receptive and responded quickly to any questions we had. ”

“The property is very nice once you get inside. It is large and well-stocked. However the stairs in the front are very difficult to navigate, especially if you have luggage. Also there is nothing much within walking distance and is not in a great neighborhood, one Uber driver commented that I was brave to stay there. Also there is a cleaning fee, but the guest is required to take out the trash and wash all dishes.”
