Mountain View Treehouse Rentals

We stayed here for almost two weeks. Kelly was amazing. She was always whipping up different types of breakfasts. She was so cute and so talkative. Her food was really good. (If you are like me however, ask for pancakes or french toast or crepes) she loves to cook Mexican style breakfast but it didn’t always sit right with me. Then I told her about and she said, “well you should have told me earlier!” We both laughed. And it was excellent there after. Her place is very cozy and calm. I loved...

Very peaceful, quiet and clean!

We stayed in the Ohia Ranch Retreat room. This was easily the most beautiful room we’ve ever stayed in. The aesthetic of the stained wood beams, hard wood floors and furnishings was outstanding. There was a real attention to detail. The bed was also tied for the most comfortable bed we’ve slept in and reminds us that we have to replace our bed at home sometime soon. The surroundings were also beautiful and complete with fun farm animals including Lucy the goat, who never ceased to...

What a delightful place! Nestled in the tropical rainforest (but just a short walk from the highway, and a close drive to the national park and the charming Volcano Village) Aloha Crater Lodge was by far our favorite of three places we stayed during our trip. Essentially a one-bedroom apartment (among four in the huge building, I believe), all the amenities you might need are included (no stove, but coffee and coffee maker were wonderful, and a wide array of snacks were included; fridge,...

Blonde lady in the gift shop not friendly when checking in and out. She was talking to another male employee about other employees. Discuss business about training modules. Not friendly at all. Did not feel welcomed at all. In fact felt we we interrupting her day and she did not want to be bother with us. Spend a lot of money to stay her and was not welcomed. I wanted to purchase several items in the gift shop and passed.

The staff overall was very friendly. The property was fixed up nicely, good secure lockers, and fun things to do in Hilo. The free tours were a great surprise. I enjoyed the Kona Beach day, Green Sand Beach hike and the chasing waterfalls (twice). Cool people from around the world... Very Spective Earthian!

Super friendly staff.

Booked this room thru Expedia 10 minutes before showing up at the place. We were warmly greeted by the owners and they assisted us in taking our luggage in. They let us chose between the 2 rooms they had available. They were amazing hosts. They offered us hot and cold beverages and snacks. They even drove us into town and dropped us off. The rooms and the views were gorgeous. Great breakfast in the morning and they even sent us away with fresh baked banana bread they made that morning when we...

We were really only there to sleep but it was a great place to sleep with a full kitchen and beautiful vegetation all around. The smells were incredible and everything was very clean. The others staying in the house were very nice and quiet.

No bells or whistles - basic accommodation. Had free breakfast which was good but had weird system. Still we were able to eat enough.

Clean, friendly and a beautiful view of the ocean.

Loved the profoundly peaceful location, could hike to and swim under beautiful waterfall on site. Only sounds were of nature. 4 miles from funky town of Hilo, which we also really liked. Perfect get-away-from-tourist-crowds Inn. Provides breakfast- could be improved with Gluten-free dairy-free breakfast option but good fresh fruit, waffles, egg souffle. Friendly staff but not overly so as in B&B where you have to make convo with owners. At night amazing views of stars, darkest sky I have ever...

If you want a unique experience with then this is the place for you. Volcano Inn is located in the middle of the rainforest, which is amazing. Jon and Lauren were friendly and super helpful. It was a wonderful experience and I will certainly be returning!

Cute, cute!! A true relaxing, scenic gem. Came from a big resort to this - - a lovely contrast. Near the volcano tour/state park. No TV, but that is their philosophical charm. Nice homemade bkft., older/quaint, clean - would definitely return!!

I booked a night here since it was close to the airport and our accommodations for the trip were far and we we’re arriving very late. I called ahead let them know of our late arrival. Turns out our flight was delayed twice making our arrival even later. Arriving into Hilo at 0130 was not the easiest. We couldn’t get a Lyft, Uber, or taxi. A whole plane of people were trying to use 3 car shares at the same time. Mr Arnott went above and beyond helping out a single mom with 2 kids Stuck at the...

very very good!

This place is amazing! If you're looking for a getaway from many other tourists, don't mind sharing a separate, common kitchen with some other folks, and enjoy some fantastic recommendations from your hosts, this place is for you. The suites are nicely apportioned and the hosts have thought of everything. We like to cook our own dinners in the evening as well as breakfast and this place suited us perfectly. We also hate crowds. The only crowds you'll have to deal with here are a few frogs in the...

Very cool home in a quiet neighborhood. The house has a 1920s Art Deco but
