“The pictures were a bit deceiving. The properties condition was quite outdated. The pictures made it look much nicer than it was. I didn’t get a notification of the spa being broke down until I booked the room with no refund. The room next-door had a notification from the sheriffs department that it was being condemned and all the items inside were being auctioned off. The jackhammer that started outside of our room on the final day (at 8 am) was the cherry on top of our crappy experience here.……

“The property was nice. Looks dated outside but inside our room it was very nice, clean, and comfy. Had all the essentials for our 2 day stay. Loved the location to the beach. Would recommend and go back there. ”

“Overall the stay was outstanding! We were able to have our 2 dogs with us in the pet-friendly room. There was some confusion when reading through the Vrbo posting and policies but it worked out. The communication was easy and quick. The room itself was good, as it was a pet-friendly room, stains were to be expected. The rooms don’t stink which was a highlight. We enjoyed the balcony. Unfortunately we had a neighbor who would leave their dogs unattended and they barked every time we would enter……

“We enjoyed our stay. I like the fireplace and cozy beds. The only con comment was with the pool. It was definitely not heated. The hot tub was hot but you could not turn on any jets. The ph of the pool was tested while we were there but no test on the hot tub. I felt the hot tub needed attention. We always enjoy our stays at D Sands and will be back.”

“Construction was going on and it made it very hard to relax. It wasn’t quiet. It was very disruptive. It wasn’t a pleasant day. I left the very next morning.”
