Best Resorts in New Port Richey

"I'm shocked that this is a Wyndham property. It is very run down and felt dodgy and dirty. It is terribly outdated and overpriced for what it is. Shuttle bus was supposed to come in 30 min and we waited over an hour and finally took a taxi. The staff was friendly - none of this is their fault. I will not be staying at a Ramada EVER AGAIN. The star rating on Expedia is utterly misleading and inaccurate. "

"We booked this hotel because there was supposed to be a shuttle to Bush Gardens. We were told at check in there was no shuttle because it broke down. We asked for compensation and got nothing. We then had to pay for a Lyft each time we went to the park. The restaurant was not open any of the days we were there. The complementary breakfast was fair at most. The area surrounding the hotel did not look safe to walk anywhere. The green space and pool at the hotel were very nice. The rooms were very large and had a separate seating area which was a plus. "

"The shower would not get hot at all, so we had to ask for maintenance on a shower. It took a day to get it fixed. We loved the restaurant in the hotel and had a great menu, happy hour, food/drinks. We never used the pool because we were out doing other things, but it looked very nice. We would stay at the Chart House again. Great location."

"Our stay was great. This resort does a nice job of making sure you feel taken care of. The nightly price is steep, so the resort fees feel high in addition. Almost every employee we encountered was wonderful. Too many people jammed into a small area for the pool, and the beach is ridiculously crowded with those from Opal Sands also sharing the same beach. "
