"The dinner meals were amazing. I had halibut one night and salmon the next. It was served with fresh vegetables from the garden. I had soup and mussels as appetizers and both were fabulous. The breakfast was very underwhelming, cold frittata and French toast with Aunt Jemima syrup ,no fresh fruit as promised. Our server Pierre was polite, efficient and kind. My room,6a ,had a moldy smell. The a/c filters were caked with dust ( I cleaned them out myself) and the patio door to the outdoor did...

"I only stayed here for one night, but it was a very peaceful stay. The location was perfect for a view of the sunset. Unfortunately the night I was there was too cloudy to see it, but the stay was still worth everything else. The room and amenities were very well kept and cozy to stay in. I even walked a short trail that led to a brook (Sally’s Brook) that I don’t think had another access point. I would love to stay here again."

"The cottage was even better than we expected from the listing! There was a lovely living room area with ample seating, a very functional kitchen, and a huge deck that wraps around two sides. It was quiet and peaceful, being on a private road/ private lake with most cottages owner-occupied, and no loud parties. We really appreciated having three bedrooms, so each of our sons could have private space if desired, when not sightseeing. We used the cottage as a base, to make day trips to Lunenberg,...

"Beautiful spot on lake doucette, cute cottage with everything you needed. Barbecue, bonfire pit, hot tub, kayaks, paddle boards (even a peddle boat) all right there for you. The bed was really comfortable, not hard or anything. Host was great no problem whatsoever. We would definitely go back again 10/10."
