“Good location, close to the opry mall and resort, free breakfast was very good ”

“The room was clean and staff were all courteous. We stayed on the first floor which is a first for me. It was a little noisy given that the parking lot was right outside my window, the ice machine was one door away, and I could hear the people on the 2nd floor so I wouldn't recommend it. The room was clean but there was dehumidifier running in the hallway and the room had a bit of an old smell. You can tell it's an old property that they threw some paint and new fixtures in. The breakfast was……

“Staff was good but property is very old and not kept well. No towels in the room, bathroom floor was sticky. Had to change room which took a while. I would not be staying there again! ”

“The room was nice except for the carpet. The HUGE issue we had was we could hear our neighbors talking and doing the nasty…yes!! Twice!! They kept us awake until after 2:00 am so we got very little sleep. The walls are obviously too thin. I have never been subjected to hearing what we heard in the next room.”

“Very bad experience. The room had a foul smell and was dirty. The website says pets are free but front desk (after waiting 10 minutes to check in) said I would have to pay $20 for my dog. I referred him to the website. I didn’t pay the $20. In fact, the place was nothing like the pictures and description in its website. Because of the dirty room, I didn’t trust the free “breakfast”. I only ate packaged oat meal and yogurt. Skipping the cereal and white bread. I will take a hard pass on……

“We stayed in the Retreat House. The room and bathroom were beautiful and sparkling clean and very spacious. The only reason I did not give this bed-and-breakfast five stars was the location. Belle Air mansion is located on a tremendously busy intersection right off the interstate. It is a MUST that you bring earplugs and an eye mask to get a good nights restful sleep otherwise you will be up all night listening to traffic. Breakfast was delicious!”
