“The room was clean and staff were all courteous. We stayed on the first floor which is a first for me. It was a little noisy given that the parking lot was right outside my window, the ice machine was one door away, and I could hear the people on the 2nd floor so I wouldn't recommend it. The room was clean but there was dehumidifier running in the hallway and the room had a bit of an old smell. You can tell it's an old property that they threw some paint and new fixtures in. The breakfast was……

“The staff was amazing, but the property needs some major upgrades. My room looked like a lot of seedy things had taken place. There were holes in the walks, foot prints on doors, cigarette burns on the bedspread, and we actually witnessed a bit of "illegal trade" happening on the second floor. I'd suggest the owner take care of his kind and thorough staff and invest, AT LEAST, in a coat of paint in the rooms. ”

“We recently stayed in the Hideaway, and we couldn’t have been more pleased with our visit. The entire property is gorgeous. The staff is courteous, and the breakfast is amazing! The history of the home and allure is second to none. The grounds were beautifully manicured and you are close to several restaurants. I would highly recommend this establishment to anyone. The only drawback is that the mansion resides very close to a busy intersection and with that comes some noise. ”
