The abundance of nearby dining options is an added benefit. The hotel itself boasts a stylish, modern, and clean aesthetic, complemented by an exceptional staff that warmly greeted us each time we entered or exited the premises. The lobby features a cozy bar, perfect for unwinding, and there is a pleasant area to soak up some sun at the front of the building. While the rooms are somewhat compact, the balcony provided a delightful escape that overshadowed any concerns about size. However, it can be quite noisy, particularly on weekends, so those seeking tranquility should request a room at the back; the hotel thoughtfully provides earplugs as a nice touch. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the television was a generous size, and the refrigerator was useful for our beverages. The bathroom also offered excellent lighting. This hotel may not be suitable for families or those desiring a peaceful retreat, as it caters more to couples and solo travelers looking for an energetic experience in the Gaslamp Quarter. Overall, it was a solid choice for an exciting city stay, and I would certainly choose to return.
