"The location was excellent for the San Pedro train station and market. It was very easy walking to the Plaza de Armas too, maybe 5 minutes. Of note, our tour got canceled last minute, and Juan got us a great guide. We couldn’t have been happier! "The hotel is perfect for a stay when you need proximity to the airport. The neighborhood is not very safe but the staff are extremely attentive, they wouldn’t let me wait outside, helped me out to the uber, etc., and there are security cameras, so the property itself is very safe. If you aren’t freaked out by the neighborhood its a great choice."

"My wife and I spent 2 nights in Ollantaytombo at Parwa and enjoyed our stay. Jorge and his family are great hosts, the room was excellent. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ollantaytombo. Areas for improvement: room service, bathroom shower area has a curtain but the bathroom gets fully wet after a shower. A sliding door might help. Also, lunch boxes for tourists with early tours was not provided, I have seen other hotels do that. "

"The Rupa Rupa is up quite a steep set of stairs. Once up there the room for four was large enough, however the bathroom is a bit small for four people. The breakfast was good and staff were friendly. You can hear the birds in the morning but also the nightlife so it's not quiet most of the day. Overall it was great, just be sure you can do 5 flights of stairs often and are okay with mountain air moisture."

"Toilet didn’t flush a few times even after repair. The hot shower was intermittent. Kudos to the owner /operator though- he was very attentive and tried his best to resolve these issue promptly. He was also nice enough to keep our luggage for 10hrs when we went hiking. "

"We loved our stay at Apu Lodge. The staff was very kind and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a wonderful second floor view of the archeological ruins.
