First, after booking, the owner asked us to pay an extra money for cleaning fee, even though it was not clearly listed in the Expedia booking details. “The house was just perfect for my husband, myself and our fur baby! Sitting on the front porch and being able to see Pilot Mountain was super special! It had all the basics you would need for a long weekend. The bed was extremely comfortable and having the gas logs during the cold nights was so toasty. The host was a wonderful person to work with. She was highly communicative and went out of her way to make us feel comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again! What a find!”

The lake looked very nice but unfortunately it was a little cold for us to fish. Any time I messaged the owner it wasn’t long that they responded. I loved the area and the home ices perfect.
