"We really enjoyed our time at the hotel. It isn’t a great location right next to the Barnyard which had some great restaurants and where my wife got a massage. It was also across the street from another strip mall that had a lot of other convenient places. And it was only 2 miles away from Carmel-by-the-Sea where we went and had a great dinner at La Bicyclette. We ended our night with a drink at the onsite restaurant which was very nice. I would definitely recommend this for your stay in Carmel."

"We loved everything about Carmel Pearl! Sanctuary Vacation Rentals does a great job making check in and check out easy. Everything was well stocked from towels, to box fans, to blankets, even little flashlights. The kitchen and laundry facilities were also very generously stocked for a lengthy stay (laundry detergent, dishwasher tabs, trash bags, cleaning supplies). All you need is right nearby - grocery store, shops, Carmel by the Sea, restaurants, beaches- everything is within 1-2 miles. The location is very safe and quiet. The complimentary cheese, crackers, and wine were a nice touch! What was really elevated was the furniture! Usually rental homes have uncomfortable couches and chairs that are worn down, but this home had the most comfortable, high quality plush chairs and couches! We appreciated the no pets allowed due to allergies. We would absolutely stay here again if our travels bring us to Carmel. Definitely visit Point Lobos, 17 mile drive, and Carmel Meadows Trail for beautiful coastal views. And be sure to try Dametra for dinner and From Scratch for breakfast. Thank you for a wonderful stay!!!"
