Nice hotel with excellent staff. Not in a city centre location but means buses can access you for excursions etc. Only an easy 20 min walk from central attractions. Its a popular Hotel for coach trips but we didn't find that problematic.
Hotel okay, friendly staff, due to late arrival & early flight home next day, cant tell you about anything else as we had no dinner and no breakfast. Typical Iceland price for a night but did the job. Good Shuttle service to airport.
This location was wonderful! Close to waterfront, restaurants, shops, bus stops, etc. breakfast was hardy but not much variation. Room was fine- very small (but we were only there to sleep anyway!) . Comfy bedding. Shower was a bit awkward! Nice hot tub. Friendly staff. Would definitely recommend ...
The hotel's location was convenient for our stay in Iceland for one week, reasonably close to the airport and a good base for our daily exploration. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff were great. The food is quite expensive, however that is generally the case for good hotels and food ...
The front desk staff was very helpful with recommendations for restaurants & walking routes for efficient sightseeing. The hotel itself is a quick 5 minute walk from the church, which is the bus pick up & drop off for excursions and airport transfer. Also, it's less than 15 minutes (walking) from ...
I was pleasantly surprised both by the easy access to Reykjavik, the Blue Lagoonand KEF and by the spacious, clean rooms. The free, right in front parking and good, basic continental breakfast were bonus'.
The hotel has great facilities the room was lovely. The hotel is right in the middle of Reykavik, great for all the sights, restaurants and bars.
Situated about 50 mins from the international airport and 30 mins from Reykjavik, the Hotel Laxnes makes a good stopping point between the capital and the tourist destinations in the south and west of the country. The hotel needs a little tender loving care to lift it into 4 out of 5, so its a 3 ...
It is strategically located at the heart of Reykjavík. All interesting places are within walking distance, including Stores, restaurants & bar. The Tourist Information Center is a few blocks away -very useful tool. And the famous hotdog stand is only 2 blocks away😉 Btw, Iwe were on an early flight ...
I've stayed in many of the 4-star hotels in Reykjavik and travel a lot for business staying in 5 star hotels. I strongly recommend Holt Hotel if you want a comfortable, less corporate and more Icelandic experience. Nice art-deco feel, great art work in the common areas, great Art Deco bar - popular ...
