"Our stay at the villa was the icing on the cake after a month long vacation in Italy and Mediterranean cruise. Cecilia was a gracious host and we feel we have made a new friend. "Our family of 11 stayed at the villa in early June. The owner and manager of the property were available and very helpful. The Villa was spacious and very clean. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces and the pool. Plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the beautiful view. Grocery and small shopping mall very close. Easy access to the towns in Tuscany. Highly recommended!"

"The host was very welcoming upon arrival and gave us a great tour of the property along with some area history. Such a peaceful setting. Really enjoyed the patio upstairs off the bedroom. "Where to even begin? We loved everything about our stay. Stefania was wonderful, and responsive to our many questions before we even arrived. Upon arrival, it felt like a dream. The Villa is beautiful, private, and expansive. The property is huge, with lots of olive trees, fig trees, and places for the kids to play and explore. And not to mention the stunning pool, which overlooks the most incredible views of Cortona. We were pleased to find a ping pong table, and just absolutely loved the pool...

"Nice enough property, very clean. You need to reconfigure furniture in living room so more people can sit. Ok for 2 people but not really inviting and comfortable. Don't need the dining table in that room or that huge hutch. More wine glasses and bowls needed. Update master bedroom mattress. Very uncomfortable. Grounds very enjoyable! Property manager very responsive and helpful. Not really walkable up to hilltop. Reason for the lower rating is the house is over 200 years old...

"Quiet, charming location which was central for day trips to Monte San Savino, Florence, Lucca, Pisa, Cortona, Montepulciano and many other villages in Tuscany. The pool was lovely, gazebo had honeysuckle and other flowering vines surrounding it which was a nice location to get out of the sun. Many olive trees surround the house and we did manage to see a wild boar, many geckos, birds and even a snake."

"Absolutely superb hosts. Nothing was too much trouble. We had two delicious meals cooked by Linda and we left with her homemade limoncello and olive oil. Peaceful, beautiful grounds with wonderful walks straight from the house. Tennis club 5 min drive away, and a local train station that whisked us off to Florence for the day. Don't miss Snoopy's gelato in the local town. This holiday was a 5* experience."

"This house is not a "normal" house but with a lot of different rooms. Filled with nice arts and decorated with some old furniture. Real characteristic Italian house. Nice garden with different places to seat. The only comment what I can give is the small kitchen. The garden and the swimming pool is maintained daily. We stayed here with 6 adults ad 4 children. Nice place to be."

"A terrific property in Cortona that should not be missed. A fantastic location to town requiring an uphill but not overwhelming walk or 5 minute drive to parking. The house is welcoming and stays very cool even on a warm day. Beautiful views and grounds with a comfortable pool. Wonderful place to base a trip and enjoy day trips within Tuscany. "We loved our stay in this serene setting. It was a great fit for two couples and a friend. The grounds are beautiful and the pool is a plus. Our host, Leonella, was gracious to keep the pool open beyond the prescribed closing due to the excessively warm month. Leonella was very responsive to our needs, changing linens once a week. We were in the main house (old hunting lodge) with 4-bedrooms, 3 baths, huge living space, kitchen, carport, and private pool. They bogg live on siteNonna was attentive but not intrusive, and always left us tomatoes and basil from her garden, but spoke no english - more of a comment about us than her as it would have been great to talk to her more fully. "This is a stunning property with a stunning view that photos simply cannot do justice to. My only reservation was the very poor directions to find it and some difficulty getting a hot water issue sorted out .
