“Nellie’s log cabin is a real gem! Nestled in the woods on a working farm, this cabin is surrounded by beautiful hardwoods and faces a picturesque pond. It is peaceful and quiet and there is no traffic noise- only the sounds of birds, bullfrogs and chirping crickets. It is very close to Hanging Rock State Park. The hostess is extremely responsive and very helpful with any questions or concerns and the cabin upon arrival was absolutely spotless. This was one of the best places we’ve ever stayed!……

“Beautiful and unique property nestled in trees surrounded by quiet garden . We were in town attending a family wedding in a town over. Plenty of cozy sitting options inside and outside with nice fireplace . Loved morning walks with our granddaughter and with our miniature Aussie. Host responded promptly with any questions and concerns . We ate mostly at the home but there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Memorable visit for our family. Loved our trip!”

“Beautiful cabin. Perfect location close to Fairy Stone Park. Downstairs bedroom was a little too cool unless you like sleeping in a cool bedroom then it's perfect!! Would definitely visit this cabin agin!”

“A Minimalist Fancy! It's a cute place to lay your head and take a short shower. That's a very good description! We enjoyed our stay, and Lori was a great host. We also enjoy shooting at the sporting clay range. They have shotguns to rent and shells. The small hotel-style refrigerator, microwave, and toaster oven are just enough to get by for basic meals. “We were in town to move our daughter to Winston-Salem. It was nice to have coffee there for our early morning departure. There was not a lot to cook with, so I was glad we were eating out. The shower water is opposite of what I’m used to. Cold was all the way to the left and hot to the right. Just FYI. ”

“Our stay at Whisper Chalet was great! Lady Jackie was more than accommodating. We also had a graduation dinner at the property and without asking she provided tablecloths in the the school's colors as well as home decor with the school's theme. Lady Jackie went above and beyond my expectations to ensure our group had a wonderful stay. She cares for her property and literally walks you through the check-in to make sure you're knowledgeable and comfortable with the property. There was plenty……
