“My room had no windows. There was no on-site staff so I could not ask to change rooms. The room was recently renovated with a large, windowless living area and a narrow kitchen with a big refrigerator and dishwasher. The windowless bedroom was so small that the radiator and dresser were just 2 or 3 inches from the edge of the bed, making it difficult and potentially dangerous to move around. Although the bathroom was nicely designed, the toilet seat was cheap, lightweight plastic. It is a shame……

“I found everything to be adequate. I did ask for a renovated room at check in, none were available. The room we got is quite dated in comparison to the pictures shown online, however everything seemed clean. The beds and pillows were comfortable. My daughter did forget her toothbrush, and I went to ask if they had any I could buy. They said they were complimentary but they didn’t have any left.”

“Beautiful old home a stone’s throw from downtown Guelph. Amazing breakfast.”

“We really enjoyed our two double bed suite. It was cozy with comfortable furniture. The kitchenette had everything you could possibly want. We come to Guelph every fall to visit family and this is the best hotel in our opinion. The breakfast buffet is good. And they have a small bites supper for free midweek. That was really nice because after a long day of traveling, going out to eat wasn't appealing. We will always stay here on future trips. Staff was helpful and nice. Overall, a very good……

“Loved everything about our stay. Complementary breakfast was great. Pool and slide were great. Children had a really fun time. Towels for the pool area should have been checked, ran out a few times, and had to go out and request more towels at the front desk. But besides that, everything else was amazing. Our room was clean. I fully suggest this hotel to anyone. I will definitely be returning with my family.”

“This place was very worn down and had damage. There was only a half roll of toilet paper and no extra. The soap was like a little piece of cardboard. The shower curtain was filthy with evidence of something all over it on the inside, yuck. The door lock was like a bathroom door lock on the inside so I pushed heavy furniture against the door for the night. Outside the door was the small parking lot that had dumpsters and junk around. This all being said, the woman who checked me in was so lovely……

“Pros- comfortable bed and pillow - it had a mini fridge and clean microwave Cons- the room smelled like smoke, there were people smoking direct outside our room and going in and out of their rooms all night so you could hear doors slamming and car doors opening and closing You can’t open a window, there is an air conditioner unit, but it doesn’t turn on. There is baseboard heating, but it doesn’t turn on. The door doesn’t have a deadbolt. I really didn’t feel safe. Luckily I was just there……

“Room is a decent size and well maintained. The lovely lady at breakfast does a fabulous job.”

“Satisfy.”

Beautiful room with lovely sitting area with an electric fireplace and large TV screen. Gorgeous, comfortable queen bed with a standing tub in the room - good water pressure and lots of hot water. Bubble bath included along with robes. A very warm and welcoming reception from the hosts, both when we arrived and during breakfast. Would……
