Welcome to my rail house in the heart of Starland. Initially built in 1878 and updated with modern amenities. Relax on the porch, walk to the area's best bars and restaurants or take short taxi ride downtown. Off street parking is available. A Nintendo switch and TVs in each bedroom with disney plus/Hulu. The house is next to train tracks which goes by usually once in the morning and afternoon. It is currently required to blow its horn but the city is transitioning to a federal quiet zone.

Walkable to several local restaurants, breweries and bars. Walk to Forsyth park (1-mile) Long walk to downtown or quick taxi (2-miles).

A Nice Rental Property

Just far enough from downtown
Host was very easy to communicate with and quick to respond. Rental was downstairs portion of a duplex. Perfect size for what we needed. Not overly decorated or themed but everything we needed was available. Would definitely stay again.

A short getaway
Overall this rental was fine. If you or your kids like trains then you will definitely enjoy staying here. The great thing though is that the train comes between 7:00-8:00 am and then it comes 2-3 additional times in the same day. My kids loved having the Nintendo Switch and other games that were there. This unit was convenient to everything else that we wanted to do in Savannah.

Happy train-loving hubby
It was exciting for my hubby and kid to hear/see the train go by. Ray was an attentive, friendly host. The neighborhood felt safe. The rooms were clean and stocked with extra comforts. Having a washer dryer right there is a plus. Grateful for a cozy intown stay.
