Gorgeous decor and soaring ceilings await you in this totally renovated historic apartment steps from Forsyth Park, Starland District, SCAD etc.

This is just over 1 mile from River Street. Parking is free on the street. Wifi is free. Linens are provided for the King bed and pullout Queen sofa bed.

Came to Savannah for a soccer tournament but managed to have some great meals, stumbled upon the farmers market in Forsyth Park, and loved the convenience of this cute Vrbo!

a charming place in a great location
We loved our stay in Savannah. The place was clean, well-equipped and comfortable, with the exception of the bed. Check-in was easy and location was good with a slight caveat. There is a funeral home right across the street which is quite busy--not a big deal, just something to be aware of. Two things I would recommend the owners improve: 1. non-slip strips in the tub: this is HUGE and could be a serious liability issue since the tub is very slippery. I would also recommend a grab bar in the shower. 2. new mattress/mattress topper: the mattress is VERY hard. My husband loves a hard mattress and this one was too hard for him. It was torture for me--really difficult to sleep on because it was so hard. And lastly, a 'nice to have suggestion': coffee filters would be a nice thing to provide. Overall, a really delightful stay. Thanks so much. We loved your lovely little home!

Short getaway, this was perfect location
It was perfect for a short stay. Everything was as expected and high quality. Would stay again if I’m ever back in town. Other reviews dissing this are ridiculous. The pull out bed is a pull out bed. It’s as comfortable as it could be, just throw a comforter on it and add some pillows. It is very spacious and easy to cook in. For 2 people it was great.

The listing is accurate— unbeatable location and comfortable home. There was a hygiene item in the bathroom from a previous guest, which was a bit gross. One of the charms of VRBO and competitors is the hospitality typically seen— provision of coffee, snacks, a note or if you’re lucky, a half bottle of wine. This stay lacked those little touches, which make a big difference for us. Also noteworthy is that after we checked in (we were allowed a complimentary early check-in, which was so nice) someone used the code and opened the door. They left before we saw them, but this speaks to poor communication. However, it had all that we needed and was pretty comfortable.

Loved location very close to everything SCAD. Forsythe park is 1/2 block away as well as local coffee shop Bed was comfortable, bedding and linens were excellent, kitchen was nicely stocked. Would definitely recommend to others Thank you for a great stay !

It was a beautiful home converted into apartments. Lovely decor. Parking on the street. Was a plus. There’s a drip coffee maker, but I didn’t know if there was any coffee or filters available. Which there was in the cabinet. I had brought Starbucks instant packets to use. I had to stand on the bed to adjust the fan. And on the table in the living room to adjust that fan. I am all about curb Appeal and gardening is one of my hobbies..When we first pulled up, first thing I noticed where all of the weeds. Other than that everything was good, Thank you and we will definitely stay here again.

Location perfection, but..
The property is nice in general, but a few issues affected our stay. First, the sofa bed mattress is flat and you could feel all the springs. Too uncomfortable to sleep on. Since that sofa bed covers 2/4 of the people the property can accommodate, this created an unrestful stay for 1/2 of us. Secondly, the front porch was relatively unusable as it was filled with pollen and dirt, and only had 2 plastic chairs. We would have liked to used that only outdoor space. Third, the pictures make the family room look huge. It is relatively small and with the sofa bed open, there was no walking space around the room. If the price to stay in the historic district wasn't so high in the spring, I would have had lower expectations. This place is only sized for 3 and that is if the sofa bed mattress is replaced. The kitchen was well stocked and the master bed was quite comfortable. I recently stayed in another property nearby and this one doesnt copare, but same pricing. Disappointed.

Property is in a great location at the west end of Forsyth Park. Very walkable location and easy access to transportation, eateries and shopping. Home is spotless and well appointed. Great decor and wonderful front porch to sit and enjoy your morning coffee. Bed and bedding is very comfortable. Had a wonderful stay. Mary is great and super responsive.

Great location, nicely furnished, noise issue
We had a great stay here. It’s only a block from Forsyth Park and is across from a funeral home, so it’s a quiet block. The space is just as pictured online and very comfortable. The only issue was being able to hear the other tenants. As other reviewers mentioned, the apartments are not insulated and you can hear everything from the units above and behind you. We were very lucky in that the other guests were really considerate, and the sounds didn’t bother us too much.

We stay in Savannah regularly and this was a great place. Plenty of room, comfortable king sized bed, and very clean. Great location on the park but it was a little further walk to the riverfront. Street parking was no problem. Wish there was a TV in the bedroom but otherwise a great stay.

Beware of noisy guest
This property has great potential, however, it was not a good fit for our party. The place was clean and tastefully decorated, and the location was amazing, but depending on who the occupants are upstairs, it can either make or break your trip. As some of the other reviews indicated, the place is old and can be extremely loud at times. We just so happened to be there at the same time as an upstairs group that liked to party until 4 am-6 am in the morning!! They did this EVERY night we were there. I did express my concerns to Mary and she did reach out to them to be quiet, but they completely disregarded her request and the house rules. We also asked them to be quieter, and they only got louder and blared the music. It was so loud, that I actually had to call the local police to file a noise complaint. As you can imagine, this completely ruined our trip and turned a relaxing girls weekend into one filled with sleep deprivation. The sad part, is that there is a full page dedicated in the guest binder on how strict the noise policy was, yet it didn't seem to have much weight- if any. I feel like cameras on the property or within the entryway would alert the owner as to what was happening. I'm not sure if there were any, but it would definitely help monitor these type of situations. It's disappointing to know that I spent so much money for a nice place to sleep, only to receive very little sleep. Just beware, when you are booking this, that you are taking a big risk that is dependent on whomever the upstairs guest will be. I hope they are kind and respectful, but unfortunately ours were not, and resulted in one of the worst vacation rental experiences we have ever had.

Beautiful Stay
We loved our time at the house. Having a full kitchen was a major plus for us. We had a picnic in Forsyth Park because it was so close to the house. The hosue was decorated beautifully and the wallpaper was to die for! We would love to stay again the next time we are in the city.

Beautiful home with all the essentials in great location!
We really loved this rental, minus a couple of things. Pros: beautifully decorated with high end furnishings and linens, essentials provided, lovely historical home, really great location! Cons: because of its age, the house allows for a lot of noise to carry throughout the building easily. Being on the downstairs level, when anyone else goes through the front door and walks through the foyer entrance and up the stairs, it sounds like they're coming through your unit's door. It's very loud. I know some people are louder than others, especially when there's a large group, but I think one thing that could help the noise is oiling the doors, so they don't creak so loudly on top of everything else and also installing rugs to help with foot traffic noise. Secondly, the 2nd bed is technically true but not usable. The fold out couch mattress is not horrible, with springs poking into your back. We had our two teenage daughters with us, so instead of using the 2nd bed option we thought we had, one of the girls slept on the couch, and the younger one slept in the bed with us. (which thankfully was very large and comfortable) This could easily be remedied with a mattress upgrade, and you could then definitely advertise with confidence that the house offered sleeping arrangements for 4. Although we loved this rental and we would definitely want to stay here again, we won't be coming back as a family unless there's a bed upgrade.

One hot weekend
The location was perfect, close to all the things we wanted to do and easy to navigate the parking situation. House was comfortable and just the right size for our family. The curtains in the bedroom kept falling off and we had to fix it a couple of time and the water pressure in the shower was not great but all small things the rest of the apartment made up for it. It was a wonderful stay, thank you.
