“Literally the noisiest hotel I’ve ever been to in my entire life. Men were milling around the parking lot at 10:30 at night and someone randomly and aggressively banged on our door at 11 PM, but then walked away. The parking lot and breezeways smelled of ethnic cooking and cigarettes. Fortunately, the room did not stink, in fact it was very clean. But the rooms are so incredibly noisy due to the orientation of the hotel to the highway. We had hoped that turning the air conditioner on constant……

“This stay was horrible. The entire building was rough looking. The AC wasn’t working properly. The tv remote was missing and was replaced with a remote that didn’t even work. Our room was never cleaned. The front desk never answered the phone when I’d call. The man who checked us in was rude and inconsiderate. My 4 year old son was playing with my friend and the attendant said “what’s wrong with him” as if my child, being a child, was defected. ”

“This was my first time staying at My Place. They are uniquely different from other hotels in the area. It was perfect for my trip and pet. Melissa was ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL. She made sure that I was familiar with the property and enjoyed my stay. I did enjoy the ‘breakfast in bed’ option, but wished they had pricing along with signage. Other than that, it was a perfect experience.”

“Located in an industrial part of the city of Lubbock, the property seemed very safe, particularly given that there was no foot traffic nearby and nothing commercial within a mile. The rooms are spartan, but the bed was incredibly comfortable. This is a great cost-saving overnight stay motel.”

“To keep it short and simple, this place is absolutely awful. Our room was filthy, with hair and crumbs everywhere. Our bed has BED BUGS and my kids and I got bit multiple times. The property is outdated and lacking extreme maintenance. Do not, under any circumstance stay here. Not sure why it has any good reviews. Still waiting to hear from property manager for refund. I am so unbelievably disgusted and frustrated. I have spent 3 days cleaning and disinfecting our belongings, hoping we didn’t……
