Santee is home to a fabulous State Park, there are shopping and antiquing options, plenty of decent restaurants, Charleston is an easy drive and EVERYONE of the locals is helpful and hospitable. "The home did not look like picures. The owner was prompt to respond and help us when we had concerns about what we found pice we arrived, but the property manager didn't answer. It was not far from Fort Jackson, and the condo was in a quiet neighborhood. Those were the only two positives."
